Session: A session is the specific time and date you come in to have CoolSculpting®  performed on you. Most CoolSculpting® journey's are three sessions. The consultation, the treatment and the follow-up.

Area: An area is the specific spot on your body that CoolSculpting® will be used on. CoolSculpting® Is approved to treat 9 areas of the body.

Treatment: A treatment is the use of the CoolSculpting® applicator on an area of the body. You can have multiple treatments per session (such as a treatment on the abs and arms during a single session). CoolSculpting® is sold by number of treatments.

• Since CoolSculpting® has little to no downtime, you can go back to your busy day.

• CoolSculpting® is not a weight loss procedure. Continue to maintain your usual diet and exercise routine.

• Since many patients receive more than one treatment session, you may return for additional treatments in 6-8 weeks.

•Your body will naturally eliminate the treated fat cells. Typically, it takes 1-3 months to see results, with full results taking 6 months or more.

CoolSculpting®

CoolSculpting® is an FDA-cleared for the treatment of visible fat bulges in the submental (under the chin) and submandibular (under the jawline) areas, thigh, abdomen, and flank, along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks (also known as banana roll), and upper arm. It is also FDA-cleared to affect the appearance of lax tissue with submental area treatments. CoolSculpting® is not a treatment for weight loss.

‍CoolSculpting® Important Safety Information

‍This procedures are not for everyone. You should not be treated with CoolSculpting® if you suffer from cryoglobulinemia, cold agglutinin disease, or paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria.

Tell your specialist if you have any medical conditions including recent surgery, pre-existing hernia, and any known sensitivities or allergies.

During the procedure you may experience sensations of pulling, tugging, mild pinching, intense cold, tingling, stinging, aching, and cramping at the treatment site. These sensations lessen as the area becomes numb. Following the procedure, typical side effects include temporary redness, swelling, blanching, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging, tenderness, cramping, aching, itching, or skin sensitivity, and sensation of fullness in the back of the throat after submental or submandibular area treatment.

Rare side effects may happen in 1 to 10 out of 10,000 CoolSculpting® treatments (between 0.01% to 0.1%). One such rare side effect is a visible enlargement in the treated area, which may develop 2 to 5 months after treatment, will not resolve on its own, and may require surgical intervention for correction.
